Welcome to the
New England
Netherland Dwarf Rabbit Club
Don't miss the Annual Fall NENDRC Specialty Rabbit Show October 16! See 2011 Sanctioned shows for more details!
The New England Netherland Dwarf Rabbit Club (NENDRC) mission is to encourage, promote and improve the breeding of the Netherland Dwarf Rabbit by maintaining standards, encouraging exhibitions and offering services to its members.
The Netherland Dwarf has much to offer the rabbit fancier. Its unique characteristics and the wide variety of colors present an exciting challenge to the exhibitor. Its small size and good disposition make it an ideal pet for children. The Dwarf requires little space and a small amount of feed. Netherland Dwarfs are comforable in an 18 x 24 x 14 cage.
To get started raising Netherland Dwarf rabbits, attend a rabbit show or talk to a breeder or two in your area. The NENDRC recommends obtaining your rabbits from a well-respected and established breeder. This website lists many NENDRC member breeders from the New England, New York and New Jersey areas that can answer your questions and provide you with good quality breeding stock and pets. NENDRC breeders are committed to raising quality Netherland Dwarf Rabbits.
